Jacqueline Para joined the firm in 2006. She is currently the firm’s Lead Paralegal/Legal Assistant and is responsible for mentoring newer legal support staff in case management and paralegal ethics.
Jackie excels at asylum and complex waiver cases. She has a heightened sensitivity to the challenges of individuals in many parts of the world. She also enjoys legal research related to crimes and foreign country conditions. Jackie also excels in assisting clients with complex waiver cases, which may include a prior criminal or deportation history. She enjoys developing strong working relationships with the firm’s clients.
Jackie is a dedicated legal professional, who greatly enjoys helping the immigrant community. She treats the firm’s clients with professionalism, understanding and dedication. She hails from Washington, D.C. and currently resides in Montgomery County, Maryland. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, children and dog. She has a passion for home decor and bargain shopping.
Jacqueline holds a Master of Professional Studies in Paralegal Studies from The George Washington University. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County.
