Jacqueline P. joined the firm in 2006. She is currently the firm’s lead paralegal/legal assistant. Jacqueline holds a Master of Professional Studies in Paralegal Studies from The George Washington University. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. Jackie excels at asylum cases as she has heightened client sensitivity and enjoys researching related to foreign country conditions. Jacqueline is dedicated to her profession and greatly enjoys helping the immigrant community. She enjoys working with both our immigration and family law clients. Jacqueline treats the firm’s clients with professionalism, understanding and care. Jacqueline believes that what makes the United States such as wonderful country is the fact that it was founded by immigrants and that people from the most remote places of the world still yearn to be part of this great nation. She was born in Washington, D.C. and currently lives in Montgomery County, Maryland. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter and dog, Sasha.


Erica E. joined the firm in 2008. She is currently a law clerk and entering her third year of law student. Erica holds a Bachelor’s degree with a double major in government & politics and criminal justice & criminology from the University of Maryland, College Park and graduated cum laude. She is now working towards obtaining her Juris Doctor law degree at the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law. She is expected to graduate in May 2016. Erica was the firm’s first hired high school intern in 2008 and helped set a precedent for the hiring of future motivated high school interns at the firm. Erica is extremely motivated to produce a strong work product and has never wavered in her desire to practice law. Erica has worked alongside the attorney to complete countless immigration applications to U.S.CIS and motions to the Immigration Court. As a law student, Erica has represented clients at the immigration court and fourth circuit her law school’s immigration clinic. She was born and raised in Rockville, Maryland. In her spare time, Erica enjoys spending time with her family.


Cindy M. joined the firm in 2012. Cindy is currently a firm paralegal/legal assistant and the intern supervisor. Cindy holds a Bachelor’s degree of Science in Computer Network and Security from the University of Maryland. She has, however, excelled at working in the legal field as a result of being detail oriented and having the ability to develop strong professional relationships with the firm’s clients. Alongside her casework, Cindy’s administrative and accounting competence makes her the nerve center of the office. She also mentors our interns to be detail oriented and enjoys working side by side with the firm’s support staff. Having emigrated from El Salvador as a young adult, Cindy wasted no time in getting a U.S. college degree. Cindy has experience in the immigration process first hand and is personally motivated by her desire to help fellow immigrants in the local community and abroad. In her spare time, Cindy loves spending time with her husband and family.


Tania A. joined the firm in 2013. She is currently a paralegal/legal assistant and manages our family law practice caseload. Tania holds a B.A. in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the University of Maryland, College Park and graduated summa cum laude. Tania can diffuse any tense situation with her steadfast positive attitude. She enjoys working closely with colleagues and she devotes herself to providing every client with personal attention and the best possible service. She was born in Ecuador and educated since elementary school in Maryland. Tania understands the challenges and aspirations of our young immigrant population first hand. She takes great pride in assisting others in their quest for U.S. citizenship. Tania also works very closely with our family law clients. In her spare time, Tania enjoys the great outdoors and sports. She often goes hiking, plays soccer and devotes time to her family. She has a strong interest in learning about diverse cultures, food and travel.


Elizabeth C. joined the firm in 2014. She is currently our front desk coordinator. Elizabeth is a graduate of Richard Montgomery High School class of 2013. She is currently attending Montgomery College to earn her Associates degree and is planning to transfer to the University of Maryland Baltimore County to pursue her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science. Elizabeth possesses a friendly professionalism that makes clients immediately feel welcome to our firm. She is also amazingly organized having to handle multiple diverse front desk duties at the same time. She was born in Maryland, where she currently resides with her family . Elizabeth she enjoys hiking, dancing and quality time with her family.


Alexander L. joined the firm in the summer of 2014. He is currently an intern. He will be a senior at Walter Johnson High School in the Fall 2015. Alexander is of great assistance in closing files and is also learning how to perform tasks in a professional environment. He looks forward to attending college in the foreseeable future.

Our firm also proudly mentors and hires students as interns from local high schools, who later are accepted or attend highly regarded universities.” Our local interns have included Richard Montgomery High School to Pennsylvania State University Northwest High School to University of Maryland Baltimore; Northwest High School to Salisbury University; Richard Montgomery High School to Columbia University; And Walter Johnson High School to TBD.
